Patricia Wragg Obituary

Patricia Leona Wragg (Hassett) passed away peacefully at her home in Sahuarita, AZ on Dec. 26, 2020 with her devoted husband Warren and her kitty Willow by her side. Born in Hartford, CT to James and Virginia (Bombard) Hassett on July 13, 1941, she grew up in Bolton, CT, where she received her education at Bolton Elementary School. She was graduated in 1959 from Manchester High School, where she received Scholastic Art Awards for her work. Her favorite subject was horses, having fallen in love with her horse Tex as a child. Throughout her life she continued to create, painting horse portraits, embroidering, needle pointing, hooking rugs, and crocheting afghans for loved ones, especially grand-nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and her nephew William J. Maneggia, of Bolton. She is survived by her beloved husband Warren, brother Michael Hassett and wife Lisa, niece Felicia, and nephew Sean of Ashford, CT, sister Linda and husband Bill Maneggia of Bolton, niece Bonnie Livingston and grand-nephew Giovanni of Manchester, CT, nephew Matthew Maneggia, wife Jill, and grand-nephews Nicholas, Henry, Carlo, and Gustavo of Hartford, a godson Sean Hassett, two goddaughters Dana Grenier and SherriLynn Orwitz and many, many friends. Patty will ever be remembered for her delightful good nature, ready laugh, as well as her indomitable courage and positive attitude as she walked through this world. The earth has lost a great light, but Heaven has gained a beautiful angel, and there is another bright star in the sky. She will be remembered by her family and friends at a virtual Memorial Service to be held at a later time.
