ARCH THOMPSON KELLER II, age 35, of Huntington, passed away in Myrtle Beach, S.C., on Aug. 1, 2016. He is survived by his parents, Arch and Lois; his brother, Zachary; his beloved daughter, Riley; his special friend, Jillian Burton; and his grandmother, Patricia Moore. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alonzo and Betty Blevins, Kent and Billie Keller and W. Scott Moore. Arch was truly a special person, one of those who had kind words for all. A lifelong resident of Huntington, he attended Huntington High School and Marshall University. He was an avid sports fan and loved his Thundering Herd and the Cincinnati Bengals. Arch and Lois, my heart goes out to you both. I was wearing some Marshall gear at Wild Wings when he asked me where I was from. He told me his name and I laughed, smiled, and it made my day. He spoke so highly of you guys. I'm so glad I got to spend a few minutes with him. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.

My son passed away a couple years ago and at the time he was 35. He and Archie were very good friends. My heart goes out to each and every person that heart is broken. There are hard days ahead but mainly remember the good times, and all the shared love. Danny Stumbo II mom

I hated to get this news over and the weekend. Arch was a very smart, loving friend to all that got the pleasure of going to school with him. Right before he moved to Myrtle Beach I had talk to him several times. Heaven did gain a angel. Praying for his parents and beautiful daughter he was so proud of.

From 7th to 12th grade, I spent more time with Arch than anyone else. I guess that makes him my best friend for those years. We lost touch as I moved out of state but I'll never forget him. We won the city roller hockey championship together. Rode together to school, went on trips and even senior trip. He was a kind, easy going guy and nice to everyone he'd meet. Praying for Zach, Lois, Big Arch and especially his daughter Riley.

God has definitely gained a beautiful angel to watch over us all, especially his beautiful daughter Riley. My thoughts and prayers go out to Arch's family, as well as his friends and loved ones.
