I miss you so much Dad. I miss your voice, your laugh, your hugs, your calls, your visits... The way you noticed and appreciated the things I do, your passion for your South Florida teams, your love for your grand kids, the way you dressed, your scent, your smile, your eyes, your manicured hands, your knobby knees. This year of "firsts" without you has been so hard. No matter how old we are, a girl always needs her Daddy. I love you.

I miss you Dad... I wish you were here to see all of the blooming poinsettias you gave me over the years. Each time I hear the doorbell I think it's this year's plant being delivered. I love you.

I read The Miami Herald Obituaries with great sadness. I had the privilege of working with Dick when he was at Discovery Cruise Line. He was a great professional and I enjoyed our weekly meetings. He was always a gentleman and always very thoughtful. I am so sorry for your family's loss. He will be missed.

Melinda and Richard, Your dad was not only a great guy he was a great professional. His tenure at Sea World during the parks formative years made a terrific contribution to the company and community. I got to know your father on a more personal basis during several European missions. I am very appreciative of the contributions he made to my life.

Our deepest sympathy to the family. Read about Dick's passing in our local newspaper (Canton Repository). We were childhood friends attending school together and have seen him off and on through the years. He was always friendly and smiling. I enjoyed listening to his many stories. He will be missed. Sincere sympathy. May the Lord comfort you during this difficult time.

There was none more competitive than Dick Weaver.
As a fellow SAE brother at Florida Southern, I watched with envy and appreciation
the skills he exhibited that helped us win the Collage All Sports trophy.
There won't be another like him!

Dad, my sweet daddy... I love you more than the stars in the sky. More than the tears that fall. More than I could ever say. I am so very proud of you and will see you soon. Thank you for being the dad that I needed and for teaching me that it's okay to put my hands up and enjoy the roller coaster ride. I love you, Spunks.
