ANDERSON — Brian P. Sayers, 49, Anderson, passed away March 15, 2010, at Community Hospital- North, Indianapolis.

He was born Nov. 15, 1960 to Linda (Ruth) Gustin and Daniel Sayers in Muncie, and resided in Anderson most of his life.

He was a graduate of Anderson High School.

He laid carpet and drove a taxi for many years.

He loved all sports, especially the Cubs and the Bears. He enjoyed playing all card games.

He is survived by his relatives besides his parents; a son, Colt Norris Gene Sayers and his mother, Jeanie (Stapleton) Sayers of Arkansas; four brothers, John (Toby) Sayers, Bobby and Randy Gustin and half brother, Nick Sayers of Muncie; five sisters, Heidi Sayers, Robin Gustin and Wendy Vanderberg of Anderson; foster sister, Lisa (Tim) Larot of Chesterfield; half sister, Lonna Back of Indianapolis; his live-in companion, Karen (Beeman) Thompson and her children, Merrill Dougherty and Alshaley Thompson, and his grandson, little Dennis Thompson; aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews; cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Gene Gustin, and all of his grandparents.

Services will be noon Saturday at New Life Church of the Nazarene, 3615 Raible Ave., Anderson.

Cremation will take place.

Memorial contributions may be made to Linda Gustin, 32 Ringwood Way, Anderson, IN 46013.

All The great days spent at Riley, the park, the neighborhood! All the games imitating our heroes from the Bears and the "Cubbies". And of course talking about how "bad" that band Zeppelin was! Thanks for those times, those memories, those treasures. See you again cause we never say good bye, we say so long for a little while!
