Willie Hensley Obituary

HENSLEY, Willie Mae Owens, age 96 of Decherd, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016, at Southern Ten-nessee Regional Health System Winchester, fol-lowing an extended ill-ness. She was born on Sept. 18, 1920, to the late William Charles Owens and Lacy Lee Looney Owens. In addi-tion to her parents, Willie Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Austin Hensley; broth-ers, C.L. Owens and James Owens; and sis-ters, Alice Sells, Daisy Fisher, Johnnie Coursey, Jeanne Bass, Mable Finchum and Eve-lyn Jackson. She is survived by her son, Jimmy (Dianne) Hensley of Decherd; daughter, Peggy Stubblefield of Winchester; grandchil-dren, Steven, Amanda, Lisa and Meghan; great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and neph-ews. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, from noon to 2 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home in Winchester. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, at 2 p.m. in the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Duane Brown officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Garner Cemetery in Decherd. Moore-Cortner Funeral Home, 300 1st Ave. N.W., Winchester, TN 37398 in charge of lo-cal arrangements, 967-2222. Send on-line condolences to www.moorecortner.com
