Courtney Briscoe was a beautiful person inside and out. She was truly a pleasure to work with - always positive and very conscientious. She touched many lives during her time in District Two. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

I worked with Courtney for a brief time at Gaffney Miiddle School. She was a delight and a joy. I will truly miss her. She took excellent care of me. She will be missed. I know where she is, and I will see her again.

I worked with Courtney at Gaffney Middle for years when I taught there. She was one of the people who encouraged me as I worked toward becoming a guidance counselor and was always willing to answer any questions I had. She had a special way of interacting with her students that I really admired. I know that she will be sorely missed by her family, friends, students, and coworkers. I will be praying for all.

I met Courtney many years ago at Clydes gym in downtown Spartanburg. She would encourage me at 5am to go walking around town with her and a group of others. I was at her party celebrating her accomplishment when she lost 100 pounds. I would tell her that I wanted to be just like her when I grew up, even though I am 7 years older than she is. Courtney was very adventurous and would encourage me to try new things. I enjoyed her company and friendship over the years. Courtney Briscoe will truly be missed. My prayers go out to Courtney's family. She was a beautiful woman inside and out. I was able to get to know her during my time of teaching boot camp classes at legacy charter school. She was always smiling and pushing through whatever challenge even getting to know her outside of class she was a strong woman. I pray for strength for her family and close friends

To the family I just want to say Courtney was a special person. I worked beside her very day at Rainbow Lake she was loved by all the students and adults. She was beautiful inside and out and she will definitely be missed.

My sister because God is our father, but we chose to be friends. You will be missed, but I know you are enjoying the sparkles in heaven. I get emotional when I think of not being able to laugh with you about the silly things we do and say together. Gone too soon, but I trust God's plan. For her legacy, I will be fabulous and live on purpose.
