Rita Parsons Obituary
A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the home. Mrs. Parsons' graveside service will be private.
Born in Rock Hill, Mrs. Parsons was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Gladden and Lorene Pearson Gladden, and her brothers, Bill and Don Gladden. She was a member of Eastview Baptist Church and graduated from Rock Hill High School and Greenville General Hospital School For Nurses in 1969.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Irven Eugene Parsons; daughters, Toni Owens (Mack) of York, SC, Michele Parsons of Winston Salem, NC, and Gail Morton (James) of Conway, SC; sisters, Pat Smith (Don) of Kings Mountain, NC and Paula Williams (Bob) of Lancaster, SC.; sister-in-law, Sue Kolar of Naperville, IL; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Hospice of your choice.

My sincere condolences to the family. I worked with Rita at Riverview many years ago when I was a new nurse. She was such a hard worker! Many times she would come to Riverview after working a full shift at PMCs ED. She was a dedicated nurse! She will be missed.
