William Keith "Pick" Walters Jr.

Rock Hill, SC – William Keith "Pick" Walters Jr., 93, of Rock Hill, SC went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 14, 2026.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Westminster Presbyterian Church, with Reverend Jonathan Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the Anne Sanford Parlor. A private burial will be held prior to the service at Grandview Memorial Park – Hollis Lakes.

A native of York County, Mr. Walters was the son of the late William Keith Walters, Sr. and the late Mettie Beckham Walters. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, active in the Manning Biggers Adult Sunday School Class, and a volunteer in the Westminster Presbyterian Church Wheelchair Ministry. He was a graduate of Rock Hill High School, Class of 1951. Mr. Walters served in the U.S. Army in Germany from 1953 to 1955. He was employed by the Wickes Corporation in the Lumber Division for 29 years and retired from Rinehart Realty Corporation after 15 years as a Realtor. Family was everything to Mr. Walters and he was the embodiment of a Christian man. With each title that he wore, he wore it proudly. He will be incredibly missed.

Mr. Walters is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Pauline A. Walters of 70 years; his daughter, Michelle Walters Batchelor and husband, Dr. Arnold L. Batchelor Jr. of Fort Mill, SC; his son, William Keith Walters, III of Rock Hill, SC; two grandchildren, Courtney Batchelor Potts (Harrison) of Rock Hill, SC and Jordan Arnold Batchelor (Hannah) of Fort Mill, SC; great-granddaughter, Manning Potts and great-grandson, Archer Potts. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard S. Walters and Charles N. "Buck" Walters and sister, Judith Walters Ragin.
