Sara was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and grandmother whose life was defined by her deep devotion to family and faith. She found great joy in music, traveling, and studying the Bible. Her greatest happiness came from time spent with those she loved.
She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Amanda's husband, Brandon Daum; her cherished grandchildren, Amelia, Tanner, and James; her sisters, Loretta Hopper and Jennifer Tom, and Jennifer's husband, Bill; and her nieces and nephews, Gabrielle, Tommy, Alex, and Josh. Each of them carries forward her legacy of love. She was preceded in death by her parents Betty and Bob Hopper.
In her final moments, Sara's last words were a heartfelt wish of "Agape" for her family and friends.
A private family service will be held in her beloved North Carolina mountain town of Montreat.

A couple photos from our visit with her last year. We'd bring in some KFC and picnic in the sunshine.

Sara always loved her younger days in the NC mountains and I recall this was her favorite photo of herself.
