Rhonda Dee Perez Roberts was born in Missoula, Montana on May 24, 1973. She passed away in Great Falls, Montana on January 8, 2017 of pneumonia. Rhonda lived and went to school in Browning, Montana the first 20 years of her life; attending School district #9 and Blackfeet Community College. She went into the Army in 1993 and was honorably discharged in 1997. She was a part of the occupation of Haiti and spent a year in Korea where she received a commendation for performance above and beyond the call of duty. She was a helicopter mechanic. After her discharge she attended Durham NC Tech and received a degree in Respiratory Therapy in 2000. She worked in that field until 2012 when she began to have health problems. Rhonda returned home to Montana in 2014.
Rhonda is the daughter of Ronald J. and Deana McNabb Perez. She married Randy Roberts in 1997 and they had two daughters, Aubrie and Rachel. Rhonda is the granddaughter of Julian and Melveena Buck Perez, and Roy and Cecile Little Dog McNabb. She is the great-granddaughter of John and Marie Probst McNabb, and Mike and Irene Running Fisher Little Dog.
Rhonda was a beautiful woman, in appearance, socially, and spiritually. She left a void in our lives as we miss her laughter and light. Her light in God's arms and love is so much brighter in Heaven.
Rhonda leaves behind her daughters, Aubrie and Rachel, with their father Randy; her mother, Deana; her brothers Donald (Rebecca) Running Crane, Michael (Michelle) McNabb, and Roy R. McNabb; her sisters Tammy (Clinton) Williamson, and Debra (Justin) McNabb. She was rich in nephews (15) and nieces (15). She also leaves adopted parents Casey and Pixie Eagle Speaker, sister Mary Eagle Speaker, and brother Jessie Eagle Speaker. She was preceded in death by her father and brother, Edward R. Running Crane.
The family would like to thank the family and friends who were there during the wake and funeral. Their love, prayers, and support is greatly appreciated. Thank you to those who brought food and flowers, helped with the wake and services, gave money, time, and themselves in our time of sorrow.
