Aunt Virginia, I am so very sorry I will not be with you and the family for Uncle Sick's. Memorial service. I love ❤ you so very much. Uncle Dick was a very special person in my life and I can't believe I am talking about him in the past sense. The wonderful memories I treasure of times together with my parents, my sisters, my children and my grandchildren will bring me comfort and joy always. I am so sorry that I have not kept closer in touch. I miss you all so much. I look forward to seeing Uncle Dick again when we meet in our heavenly home.

Dick made every effort for me to feel welcome when I first became a member at Watts. Always a kind word and smile. What a wonderful witness of our living Lord. Praying for all of you.

Dick Chorley was a friend and neighbor in Old West Durham. A good man who cared about his community. Ginny, we're all holding you in the light.

My recollection of Richard was through the BYF at First Baptist Norwich. Having many memories of having just plain fun as a teenager, doing a variety of things, in the group. In my memory we always knew him as Richard, no nickname, just Richard.
One special memory is our trip to Toronto, Canada to attend to World Baptist Convention with Rev. Paul Gleason. A memorable experience in 1958, again just a laid back good time.
I remember him as rather quiet, reserved, and respectful never an unkind word about anyone. He certainly was a person with deep faith in his loving father God. I am sure he is having a wonderful reunion with God, relating some of his experiences here on earth. He certainly will be missed by all who knew him.
May your memories of Richard see you through the, missing him, times.
