William 'Bill' Kelly, born December 29, 1937 in Springfield, MA, raised in Jacksonville and came to Sarasota in his 20s.
He went to Stetson University, was a veteran of the USAF and a local banker for over 20 years.
Bill was a Mason and Shriner and a member of the Church of the Palms.
He was a friend of Bill W. for 28 years. He devoted many hours of service to those in recovery.
Bill was a devoted husband of 29 years to Pamela Kelly, loving father to Chelsea Kelly Rodman, Blake, Shelby, Logan Kelly and Tania Hill, adoring Pop to Emma Grace and Sadie Ann Rodman, supportive and loving father in law to Chris Rodman and future son in law Tyler Prince.
A celebration of Bill's life will be held Wednesday, 9/9/15, 10:30 AM at the Church of the Palms, Sarasota with a reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Salvation Army, Attn: Book Fund and the Church of the Palms: children and youth programs.

This morning I learned that Bill Kelly had passed away. My time spent with Bill Kelly was at the Delaware North Companies. He was one of the most respected and knowledgeable persons I have had the pleasure of being associated with. My condolences to his extended family. Respectfully, Jan Visser

Bill was the face of National Bank of Sarasota. Everyone knew Bill and he and I had great times working together over those years. He will surely be missed. Such a great person. Rest in Peace Bill!

Blessings and sympathies on the passing of Bill. My memories of him are many as I worked at National Bank of Sarasota and met him when I was quite young. He was always funny, sweet and charming. I will never forget him.

Sincere condolences to the entire family of Bill. The memorial service was beautiful! I will always remember Bill's wonderful smile and caring personality when he came to pick up patients from the ER.
