Claude "Cherie" (Garon) von Hake, age 87, of Sarasota, FL and formerly of Carle Place, NY and Hawley and Clarks Summit, PA, died Monday, July 4, 2016 in Sarasota, FL.
Mrs. von Hake was born May 15, 1929 at Vienne, France and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Yvonne (Baglan) Garon.
She was an executive manager for an import and export company.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years: Laurence von Hake; one son: Eric von Hake of Las Vegas, NV; one daughter: Sophie von Hake of Clarks Summit, PA and two granddaughters, Katie and Christina; one brother: Francis Garon of France; two sisters: Nicole Garon of France and Denise Bernard of CA.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, July 19th from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, July 19th at 10:00 AM at BVM Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 314 Chestnut Ave, Hawley by Rev. Richard W. Beck, Pastor.
