Thomas Robichaux Obituary
Thomas "T.J.""Lou" J. Robichaux Sr., 94, a native and resident of Larose, died Friday, Dec. 23, 2011.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his children, Cathy Smith, Tommy Robichaux and wife, Suzanne, Ruth Falgout and husband, Ted, Johnny Robichaux and wife, Sherry, and Paul Robichaux and wife, Jerri; and eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wildred Leblanc Robichaux; parents, Thomas and Florence Plaisance Robichaux; brother, Edmond Robichaux; and son-in-law, Louis Smith Jr.
Mr. Thomas was an avid gardener and cattleman and was retired from Gulf Oil Co. for more than 25 years. He was a veteran of World War II that served in the Philippines.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Holy Rosary School or the Larose Civic Center in Mr. Thomas name.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.

A wonderful man Gramps was! He Had such a great sense of humor. I know Granny was waiting with open arms. He can now have a beautiful garden with heavenly herbs and tomatoes. He is now able to rest. He is home in Jesus' arm.

What a joyful thought, Mr TJ makes the transition from a wonderful temporary life to the ultimate wonderful permanent life complete with loved ones and the ever embracing loving warmth of Jesus Christ. We all would like somma DAT!
