John Eckart Obituary
Eckart, 40, died Friday, March 9, 2012. A native Houstonian, John was a graduate of St. Thomas High School and the University of Houston, and an information technology specialist. The youngest of five, John was a sharp, funny and inquisitive individual, and an engaging conversationalist. We will miss the interesting observations he offered on virtually any topic or issue.
Preceded in death by his father, Frederick C. Eckart, Jr, John is survived by wife, Dana Zorrilla Luna; mother, Sarah Pasch; brother Fred Eckart III; sisters Celeste Neely, Rosalie Paul, Dorie Kerr, Amy Eckart and their families, and many friends and relatives.
John's memorial service will be held at Christ Church Cathedral 1117 Texas Ave Houston TX 77002 on Saturday March 24, 2012 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please direct contributions to Christ Church Cathedral or to the charity of one's choice.

I was shocked and very saddened to hear of John's passing. I wish your family my heartfelt condolences. John was a kind and VERY generous person - our family misses and loves you.
