James McWhorter Obituary

JAMES E. MCWHORTER, III went to be with our Lord on August 3, 2007 at the age of 78. He served in the United States Army for 5 years. He was also a longtime member of Heights Presbyterian Church. He was a loyal employee of Cameron Iron Works for over 30 years. He was a Rancher for over 48 years and a Realtor for over 18 years. Jim is survived by his loving wife, Lahoma McWhorter; son, James E. McWhorter, IV; daughter; Luanna Updegraff; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, Joyce Snyder along with other relatives and friends. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 5, 2007 at Woodlawn Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, August 6, 2007 in Woodlawn Garden of Memories with Rev. Mark Downs officiating.
