CHARLES CAVALERI Obituary

CHARLES S. CAVALERI, JR. "Mr. Larry", born on January 14, 1923 in Montclair, New Jersey to Sebastian and Rose Stavalla Cavaleri , passed away on January 8, 2010 a few days before his 87th birthday. Charles was a hairstylist for 55 years, as well as an usher at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church for 48 years.Charles is preceded in death by his brothers and sister-in-laws, Tony and Phyllis Cavaleri and Raymond and Emma Cavaleri. Charles is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Esther M. Montalbano, and their two children, Charles J. Cavaleri and his wife Tori and Rosanne Musachia and her husband Sam; his wonderful grandchildren, Charles Jr, Alexander, Kristina and Sabrina; his brother Anthony Cavaleri and his wife Rose; his sister Agatha and her husband Michael Bonanno; and nieces and nephews.Charles' family would like to invite you to his visitation on Monday, January 11, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. with the reciting of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 6800 Buffalo Speedway, Houston, Texas 77025. If sending flowers, please arrange for delivery to the church gathering space. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. at the church on Tuesday, January 12, 2010. Following the services, all are invited to a gathering for lunch in the Msgr. Jamail Parish Family Center at the church. Charles will be laid to rest at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale Avenue, Houston, Texas 77023. Charles' family would like to thank the staff of First Colony Health & Rehabilitation Ctr., St. Luke's Hospital 7th Floor ICU, and Houston Hospice. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Agnes Academy, 9000 Bellaire Blvd. or St. Thomas High School, 4500 Memorial Dr. We invite you to share your thoughts and fond memories with our family by visiting www.mem.com.
