Danny Burk Obituary

DANNY DARYL BURK, 56, passed away on November 9, 2001. In 1962 he joined the U.S. Navy. He attended U.S. Naval Submarine School in New London, Engineman School in Great Lakes, then served as an Egineman on submarines until 1965. He was a subcontractor in Georgia and Tennessee for many years. In 1986 he was a Millwright for industrial construction companies throughout the Houston area. He then became a Code Certified Professional Real Estate Inspector. He is survived by his wife Donna Kay Burk, married October 17, 1992; parents, Lee and Alberta Burk; son, Delmar Cheek and wife Diane, daughters, Michelle Hoover and husband Brad, Teresa Ann Robey and husband Richard Jr., Candida Goudeau and husband Chris, Teresa Dewberry and husband Roger Jr.; sister, Sharon Kay Burk; grandchildren, Cyrus Cheek, James Foree, Richard III and Kristine Robey, William and Aubrey Hoover, and Josef Dewberry. Visitation will be Monday, November 12, 2001 at 5pm at SouthPark Funeral Home 1310 N. Main Pearland, TX 77581. A Celebration of Life will be Tuesday, November 13, 2001 at 3pm at SouthPark Funeral Home. Interment will follow at SouthPark Cemetery.
