Memories With My Papa!
The love I have for my Papa
Will never fade away.
I'll think of him, my special friend
Throughout each passing day.
I'll walk into the room
And see his empty chair;
Although I know he's resting in heaven,
I'll feel his presence there.
The memories of his laughter,
His warm and loving smile,
His eyes so full of happiness,
His heart that of a child.
Memories are forever
Be they laughter or of tears,
The memories I will treasure
Throughout all the passing and coming years!
Papa, I miss you!
Your grandbuddy daugther
Mariah
P.S. I'm getting ready to graduate from high school June 5, 2014. You won't be there in person, but I know you will be watching down from heaven and I'll feel your warm presence. Then I'm going to Texas Tech in August to start a new chapter of my life. I know you won't be here to wish me well. But, I know you'll be watching over me from heaven! I plan to keep my promise to you and become the first doctor in the family. Miss you Papa! My heart is hurting but I dont want to be selfish and keep you here in all that PAIN! Mom says it's not goodbye! It's I'll see you later!!! I like that better! C u Later, your Grandbuddy, Mariah!
Daddy love for the family to spoil him! We enjoyed every minute of it too!!!

My father, who many of you are aware, his health was slowly failing this past month after eighty seven years of life. My Daddy, was a loving husband, awesome father, wonderful grandfather, devoted christian, great scout leader and a magnificent MENTOR to many young men near and far. Most of all, he was my BEST FRIEND! This is a huge loss for our family, HSBC Church and the community.
Thanks to one and all who have held my father in prayer. It was truly appreciated! His faith in Jesus was strengthened during this time--and my family was comforted by your intercession. Thanks, for the huge outpouring of love, support and encouragement we received from many. My Father will be GREATLY MISSED! I LOVE YOU DAD! IT'S NOT GOODBYE, I'LL SEE YOU LATER!!!
