Robert Hlavenka Obituary
Robert Raymond Hlavenka, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully from this world on March 26, 2011.
Robert was born January 14, 1941 in Dallas, Texas to Joe Hlavenka Sr. and Mollie Dudik Hlavenka. His work in the automotive parts industry brought him to Houston where he led a very full and fulfilling life with his primary focus always on his family. His parting has left a very deep void in all who knew and loved him.
Robert is survived by his wife, Rosemarie; two daughters, Donna Hlavenka Wachel (Joe Wachel Jr.) and Vicki Hlavenka Shackelford (Randal Shackelford); two sons, Robert C. Hlavenka (Joanne Dixon Hlavenka) and David Hlavenka (Dawn Gilbertson Hlavenka) and 9 Grandchildren. Robert will be reunited with his son, Richard Patrick Hlavenka who preceded him in death.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 29, at Klein Funeral Home from 6 - 8 pm with a rosary beginning at 7 pm. The funeral mass will be held Wednesday, March 30 at 11 am at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church in Spring. Robert will then be laid to rest at Klein Memorial Park in Tomball.
