My deepest sympathy for the loss of your Mother. I met Mrs. Brooks several years ago at Four Friends Tea Room in Pearland. I was one of the owners and spent many lunches visiting with "Our Miss Brooks". She loved it when we called her that. Our visits were always filled with wonderfully interesting stories. She was a gracious beautiful lady and I feel blessed to have known her.

I am so sad to know that Ann has passed away. She was my piano teacher when I was a little girl and I have so many fond memories with her. She taught me how to play beautifully and was always so patient with an impatient little girl! Ann was a wonderful woman and brought joy to me every time I would see her, with her warm smile and sweet nature. Even as an adult, I felt a connection to my former piano teacher and friend. She will be missed. Please accept my deepest sympathies.
Sincerely,
Lydia Jones

Ann was a very special lady. She was the organist for the twelve years that we were at First Presbyterian in Pearland. It was indeed a pleasure to work with her and to be able to appreciate her wonderful talent. She was indeed a class act. After we moved from the area, our daughter, Kellye came back to Pealand and lived with Ann for almost a year. We will always remember Ann's willingness to offer her home to Kellye and to make her feel a part of the family. Blessings to each of the children and know that your mother and grandmother left each of you a very special legacy.

I was so very sorry to hear about Ann's death. I was one of the many brides who walked down the aisle to her music, and that is one of the things I will always remember her for. I know she will be sorely missed by all of her church friends, my mother, Mac Bost, being one of many of them. Ann was a beautiful, gracious lady who my mom cherished, and who I will always have very fond memories of. My deepest sympathy to her children and grandchildren. May the knowledge that your mother and grandmother was loved by so many help carry you through this very difficult time.
