William Huffman Obituary
1923-2019
William L. Huffman, 95, passed away peacefully on January 20th, 2019. Bill was born on August 22, 1923, in Houston, Texas, to Joel Reese Huffman and Willie Maude Akridge Huffman. He graduated from Pasadena High School in 1941 and attended Texas A&M University until he joined the U.S. Army Air Corps in 1944 where he was a B24 Bomber Navigator until the war ended. He then returned to Texas A&M and graduated with a B.S in Mechanical Engineering in 1948. He worked for Houston Lighting & Power until he retired in 1986. Bill married Joyce A. Waegner on November 26, 1948. The couple had four children and five grandchildren.
Bill is survived by his wife of over 70 years, Joyce A. Huffman, son Mark W. Huffman, son Scott L. Huffman and wife Nancy C. Huffman, daughter Suzanne G. Haveman and husband Kenneth J. Haveman, Jr., by grandchildren Allison G. Huffman, Warren R. Huffman, Jessica L. Huffman, Kenneth J, Haveman III and Anne E. Haveman. Bill was preceded in death by his son Donald A. Huffman and parents Reese and Willie Maude Huffman.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019, 2:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite charity.

I am so sorry for your loss our loving God promises to give you the strength to cope with the pain of your loss. He also promises to hold your hand every step of the way. Please take comfort that he does care at Isaiah 63:9 and Jeremiah 29:11,12.
