Lisa added joy (loved her giggle), compassion, deliciously made food and a new perspective to my life. I miss her . So glad the Lord is taking good care of her and she is rejoicing in heaven perfectly with her Savior.

Lisa pulled me out of a lingering depression due to a domestic violence situation. Because of her wisdom, I found my voice and a healthy independence. She will always have a special place in my heart, and I thank God he shared her with me.

Bob and family, I am so sorry to hear of our friend Lisa leaving us lowly earthlings. She was one of a kind and a true gift from the Lord to this earth. While she was working on the rotunda ceiling at the Museum in Morris a few years ago, we would visit about how ones art especially in a place like this building which has been here for 108 years is truly a gift to future generations. I loved her and her more than happy Spirit. We are at a loss here on earth but they are so fortunate in heaven to have her presence there. There will be a dedication in our next newsletter to all of the wonderful gifts her talent gave future generations through her work at the museum. Bless you all and bless her amazing memory! Johannes Family, You all are in my prayers. I met Lisa in 2007, over the next 2 years she was my angel sent to give me encouragment, love, understanding, empowerment, and God's Word to see me through a difficult task and held my hand the whole way. I am just one of many she help us save our lives. We also had breast cancer in common. I know she is enjoying her new perfect body through Christ, and pray you find comfort in that. I love and will miss you Lisa. Until we meet again my friend.

We are so blessed to have known that Pastor and Mrs. Johannes were faithfully serving in the Mishicot community, where my mother has lived now for several years. We have come to think of their family as part of our own extended family in Christ. Our grief for the suffering that has lived in their family is as real and raw as if we were part of the St. Peter's community. It is truly the answer to our prayers that Lisa will be free of pain forever, but those prayers will continue for those who are closest to her. Only the hand of the Living God who knows our pain, as He knew His own during Christ's journey on earth, can heal the hearts of those who love her. I know "everyone has a time and date with God", but what a special gift to call her to Himself at Easter time.

My sister in law Della Conroy has shared so much about her friend Lisa, that I feel I know Lisa. Here is an Irish tribute to Della and Lisa's friendship:
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal
Love leaves a memory no one can steal.
