Ron Johansen Obituary
November 26 1960 - February 28 2017
Ron was born November 26, 1960, to Knute and Wilma Johansen. He was the fourth and youngest child in their family. Ron attended Whittier, Franklin, Pocatello High and Idaho State University, from which he graduated with a degree in accounting.
In 1985, Ron and Darcey Willliams were married at Grace Lutheran Church. Ron was also baptized and confirmed at Grace. Their jobs transferred them to Twin Falls and then to Portland Oregon
After their divorce, Ron moved back to Pocatello. In 2014, Ron moved to work at Alpine WY.. .Ron was an avid sports fan and he closely followed Nebraska, Duke, the Vikings and the Red Socks. He played baseball and basketball at an early age and enjoyed al sports. Ron is missed by his family, his brother, Harold, sister Donna, her husband Gary, and their children and .grandchildren.
There will be a celebration to honor Ron at the Red Lion at 4:P.M. on Friday May 26th. Pastor James Mayer will be officiating.
Memorial considerations are to the American Diabet4es Association or to Trinity Lutheran Church, 3101 College Dr. Rock Springs, WY., C/O Stained Glass Fund.

Gooooose! Loved you, man. Such memories! Haven't seen you since high school but enjoyed shooting hoops with you and being your teammate. I suppose in heaven you can probably jam now! The world has lost a kind, good man.

Ron you will be missed. Ron was always making me laugh and made my days with calling me by my nick name (Buzzy). He was fun to watch on the basketball court. Thoughts and prayers his family.RIP
