I remember being involved a lot with Marvin and the Cook family. I bailed hay for him about 60 yrs ago and my son Doug about 30 some yrs ago also bailed hay for Marvin. Martha was my Latin teacher. Marvin and I were elders together and was even on a minster search committee together.Mark played basket ball with a mixed group at Magnolia school 1 evening a week in the winter months and I played also. Marvin was a good guy and never forgot anything.I think of him almost everytime I take Maplehurst past the farm and Tractor museum to roue 8 .

My condolences to the Cook family. He certainly lived a full life. I remember my mother speaking fondly of a Marvin Cook whom she met at Pike Grange. She passed in 2008. God rest his soul and give you peace and comfort during this difficult time.

Wonderful Christian man. The nicest and hardest working guy I ever knew. I have lots of fond memories visiting the farm when I was a kid and later in life.
