KLYDE / REST in PEACE
Candace Tremps
June 6, 2021
I was so sorry to learn of Klyde's passing. Karen and I were in school together at Eastwood Jr. H.S. In the late 70s, Klyde contacted me out of the blue, and I so regret not keeping in touch with her. She was always a warm, friendly, bubbly person, with the rare qualities of being both funny and kind. My sympathy to her family and friends, of whom she had so many.

Klyde was a wonderful friend, as I moved around the country from job to job, she would always keep in touch. Whenever I passed through Indianapolis she always had place for me to stay and catch-up. I have a variety of her work from her large Lizard painting to her humorous pencil Sports Characture drawings.
I certainly miss her.

klyde, I am so glad that I came through
Indianapolis to visit you in May.
You were the Klyde I always knew, smiling,
funny and caring.
You never let on that you were ill.
I'll miss you for the rest of my life. I have all the little memories of our friendship, first my time with you at WISH-TV, picking paint colors, doing stencils for the tool shirts, many of you open house art sales and your house in Rocky Ripple.
Thank you for being my friend and my heart goes out to all your friends feeling the same loss.

I'm so sorry I missed the celebration of life for Klyde. Other than one cousin on moms side, you guys were it! Elaine, feel free to reach out. I'm on FB and my email is [email protected].
Dan and I are so very sorry for your loss. Prayers and hugs to your family.

You will truly be missed by us and so many. I will always be grateful for our bond and so many memories. Always loved art time in your studio when I was a little girl.. Then creating together through the years after. Loved our Mexican food dates and The Rocky Ripple fair when I moved to Indy. Thank you for bringing me to LA to visit you and Mike.. It was such a great time and experience! We had such a blast. (Until I got food poison before getting on the plane to go home lol). You tried so hard to get my flight changed.. I giggle now lol. Thank you for sharing the same fun experiences with the boy's! We have some real talented artists in the family We will miss seeing your new jewelry and art creations, but I am sure you are right in the crowd entertaining everyone and laughing while drawing in the heavens! Love you aunt Klyde and may you be surrounded in so much love and peace!

This makes me very sad, she was my friend although we talked on the phone maybe every 4 to 6 months (because of her hearing) It was always a meeting for breakfast lunch or dinner on my visits. My house is full of her artwork and my jewelry box full of Jewelry. She was a good friend. I will certainly miss her. We have been friends since the 70's. I will miss her, but am surrounded by the beauty of her talent.

I have been thinking of Klyde and wondering how to get in touch. I learned to know Klyde through a Rocky Ripple friend, Cherrie Kochel-Binegar. Cherrie passed away October 7th of cancer. Hopefully, these two talented ladies are creating something beautiful in heaven.
My sympathy to you~

GIRL we sure lived life close in the beginning of our lives. You and John were my neighbor in OXFORD GABLES. We both realized our mistakes in husbands! You never told me you were ill. Never a word. Jeff Lake just told me. I am so sorry ypu are no longer onthe end of my phone again. No more Mexican food together. No more apartment hunting.
Greatly missed

I am so sorry for your loss. May the God who "binds up the brokenhearted" and "comforts all who mourn," strengthen you during this difficult time. Isaiah 61:1, 2.
