Dale, thank you for a life well lived. You had a positive affect on many lives, especially mine. Many good times at both work and play. Our condolences to your family, especially Maxine. You will be missed.

Hauling bed sheets and blankets for the homeless to the LUM Shelter. Delivering food for the hungry to the St. John's/LUM Food Pantry. Lovingly builiding by hand those beautiful cubbies for the children in the afterschool program. Years of wise and steady governance of the LUM board, including two terms as president. All done with a warm heart and steady hand. And oh that boyish grim and twinkle in his eye! Very well done Dale. God bless you for your faithful service to the less fortunate in our community. Hugs and prayers to Maxine, Jenifer, Paul and the entire family.

What a phenomenal man and a testament to true grace and service to others. He will be greatly missed in our community. I served with him at LUM and always enjoyed our times together. May God hold he and his family in the palm of His hand.

Dale was one of the best volunteers that Food Finders ever had. He determined the best way to do something and went about the work. For Dale, it wasn't about the volunteer experience it was about getting the work done to provide real help to the organization. He was a very good friend to me, particularly offering advice during our capital campaign. I will miss him very much. Katy Bunder

We were so sorry to see Dale's obituary in the Indianapolis Star this morning. We have so many good memories of the get together at your home in West Lafayette of all the Holzbog families, of seeing you and Dale at many of the Purdue sporting events, the Holzbog reunions at Birdseye, and the summers you would spend with your Aunt Anna in Greenwood. It has been so good to have relatives like "Charley's Angels". Your family has our sympathy.

Maxine - Mary Fran and I hold you in our prayers. Dale was always such a good man. We both remember him fondly and have been pleased in recent years when we ran into him in the community. We are grateful he was in our lives.
