June Linder, 93, of Lafayette, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020 at 9:39 a.m. at her residence. June was born on August 4, 1927 in Harlan, KY to the late Arthur and Kathryn (Davis) Metrogen. She was married to George Vick, and he precedes her in death. June was a member of Eagles Lodge, VFW Post #492, and the 40&8. She enjoyed dancing, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are three children, Anthony (Kimberly) Vick of Lafayette, Marion Vick of Lafayette, and Jack Vick of San Diego, CA. Also surviving is one brother, Maurice Metrogen of Destin, FL, daughter-in-law, TJ Vick of Salt Lake City, UT, nephew, Sam (Sandy) Jackson of Lafayette, five grandchildren, Chelsea (Milton) Redwine, Holly (Allen) Myles, Tim (Kenzie) Vick, Lindsey (Daniel) Vick, Sheena Vick, and seven grandchildren, Jade Redwine, Rowyn Redwine, Trey Redwine, Blaine Myles, Avery Myles, Adaline Myles, and Colt Leazenby.
She is preceded in death by one son, Tim Vick, two sisters, Alene Coker, and Audrey Metrogen, and one brother, John Metrogen.
