Russell, Harry E. Passed to Eternal Life on Friday, May 30, 2014, age 93 years. Beloved husband of the late Ruth (Nee Fenner) for 66 years. Dear father of Jane Murray, Judith (Frank) Pierson and Randall (Judith Doe) Russell. Loving grandfather of Kristin (Bill) Kratzke, Marsha (Lance) Wiersma, Mark (Elizabeth) Pierson, Ben (Christy) Murray, Mariah and Wilber Russell. Brother of Helen (Poehls) Johnson of Conyers, GA and Marilyn Kelly of Greensboro, GA. Also survived by 14 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation Saturday, June 14, 2014 at the Funeral Home, 1PM until time of Funeral Service at 3PM. Interment Wisconsin Memorial Park on Monday, June 16, 2014 at 10AM. (Please meet at the cemetery). Former president and CEO of Milwaukee County Bank-West Allis, Harry served in the U.S. Army during WWII and survived the "Battle of the Bulge". He was a member of the First United Methodist Church -West Allis for over 70 years and was also the past president of West Allis Rotary. In lieu of flowers, memorials to First United Methodist Church appreciated. The family extends a special thank you to the staff at Linden Grove and Allay Hospice who cared for Harry.
