Just want to say how much I appreciated Dr. Tan as a kid growing up I stayed in and out the shafti office having strep as a child alot. He was always so witty and funny and could make me laugh even though I was feeling horrible and sick. I think of him often even as 2025 approaches and he'll always hold a special place in my heart for how kind he was to me as a kid. I remember the last time I saw him he was saying how he watched me grow up and now I won't be seeing him as much now that I am being a young lady and wished me well. I send my deepest sympathy, prayers, support and condolences to the Tan family. He is truly missed by his patients in Milwaukee Wisconsin.

Marlene and I found out about a week after the funeral. We were saddened to here of Simon's passing. Simon and Ladda were good friends and neighbors and Simon was my partner for many years in West Bend. Many good memories of West Bend.
Simon was also doctor for our children and someone I could go to with a pediatric question. He was always happy to help me out. He was a good person and a good doctor. We always appreciated his skill and his caring.
Our condolences and prayers to all of the family.

Our condolences to the entire Tan family. Dr. Tan was a source of guidance for us as we raised our three daughters beginning in 1974. I still use his words of wisdom with my grandchildren. He loved his family very much. Each time I pass the former Tan home in West Bend, I say a hello to the family. God's blessings to you.

I had the pleasure of working with Simon at the Shafi Medical Center as his pediatric partner from 2006-2007. He was the ultimate professional, kind, caring, energetic and ALWAYS smiling. His patients absolutely ADORED him, and it was a delight to share practice with such a fine physician and gentleman. The greater Milwaukee healthcare community has lost a giant. My heart goes out to his family at their time of loss.

Dr. Tan was an amazing man both professionally and in life. I had the honor to get to know him when I started dating his son, Peter.

Dr. Tan's energy and enthusiasm for life was contagious. Throughout the years I have known him he had shown my family and I nothing but kindness and respect. It breaks my heart that I will never again hear his words of wisdom and his clever anecdotes of love and life.

I will greatly miss Dr. Tan, but his words of wisdom will live on through me and the countless others he has touched in life. My sympathies go out to all of his family and those who loved him.

My heartfelt sympathy and prayers reach out to all of you. At last your father has reached the goal of all his life and is reunited with Ladda and many other family and friends. I won't be able to give you a hug on Thur., Melissa, because I'll be out-of-town. But I will be with you in spirit. S.Annette Herr

It broke my heart to hear of your father's passing. I pray that two thoughts will carry you through this tough time: He is no longer in pain and he is once again with your mom. I am so sorry my husband, Kevin, and I could not make it to celebrate his life with you at his Memorial Mass but please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

My wife and I send our sincere expressions of condolences to the family of Dr. Simon Tan. We never had a chance to meet Dr. Tan when he was still very active as a respected physician. Having read his obituary, his medical background is very impressive. He is a fellow alumni to many local University of Santo Tomas Medical School graduates. His accolades as mentioned speak well about his contributions in the field of Medicine in Milwaukee and Wisconsin.
May he now Rest in Peace and join his dear wife Ladda in heaven and in God's presence.
God bless his family.,
Miguel T. Galang, M.D. and Gloria Lopez-Tan,fellow THOMASIANS.
