I have many fond memories of filming and screening films with Dan. He was a wonderful friend. We had a lot of fun.

I spent many an hours in the editing room working with Dan in the early 80's. We disagreed on a few things but agreed on more and much laughter was generated when we were talking about films and life in general. I just learned of Dan's passing from an internet search, so am saddened by this news and offer belated prayers to Cherri and family for comfort at this time.

I'll never forget my brief association with HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES. My mustache melted even as the cameras ran. The experience was a lot of fun, and I sincerely believed Dan when he described the project as a labor of love. His dedication and enthusiasm was infectuous. Dan will definitely be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Cheri and the kids.

God grant eternal rest for the soul of your father, Paul. We pray also that Our Blessed Mother wraps her mantle around your family to console and strengthen you. Sincerely, Molly O'Connor

I just learned of Dan's passing through 16mmFilmTalk, a website that deals with 16mm film collectors. Although I didn't know Dan personally, I've seen his posts on the forum and just recently purchased films from him through the forum and on ebay. He was always friendly and pleasant to work with. My prayers are with his family. Rest in peace.

Dear Cherri and family,
My prayerful condolences. What a beautiful soul he is, so humble, such a good father. I will miss him and I hope to see him in heaven. I know he will pray for me. I have been praying for him every night for several months. I just wrote an email to him Monday, not knowing that he had died.
