Frank Busalacchi Obituary

Born January 11, 1937 peacefully passed away at home Thursday June 9, 2005 surrounded by family and loved ones.

Proud father of Amy (Wayne Howard), Vic (Dawn), Joe (D'Ann), Tony (Maureen), Chuck (Kathy), and Tom (Joan). Prouder yet of thirteen grandchildren Jacob, Machia, Marlee, Cheyenne, Nick, Hayden, Anthony, Alyssa, Ryan, Melody, Dan, Karl, Chris, and one great-granddaughter Tatiana. Frank is also survived by an aunt JoAnne (John) Burns, who was the sister he never had. Preceded by his parents and loving and beautiful wife Marlene.

Frank was born in Milwaukee's Bay View area to Tom "Bussie" and Marie (Dhooghe) Busalacchi, where after his graduation from Marquette University College of Engineering and his commission as an officer in the U.S. Army he returned to raise a family. In 1956, he married Marlene Pfeifer in Waukegan, IL. He was a member of Holy Family Parish-Sacred Heart Church.

Frank held various engineering and management positions in several large corporations; General Motors (AC Electronics), Rexord (Racine Hydraulics) and Dana (Fluid Power Systems). He completed his career as Vice President of Operations at Schenk Accurate in Whitewater, Wisconsin.

Frank and Marlene settled near Fond du Lac in 1997 after his retirement to enjoy the companionship of many friends and the peace and beauty of many sunsets on Lake Winnebago. His passion was fishing and hunting which brought him much joy especially when a son, daughter or grandchild took the game.

Frank is now united with Marlene in peace and comfort in eternity with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Visitation for Mr. Frank A. Busalacchi will be on Wednesday, June 15, 2005, from 10:00 to 11:30 am at Sacred Heart Church. Liturgy of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 am on Wednesday, June 15, 2005. Also, when I was little all I really wanted to do was go to my grandpa and grandma's house! I really wish I couldgo back to the cottage and spend time with him and my family. The cottage was a magic place for me, my cousins, aunts, uncles, and all other relatives.

Frank Anthony Busalacchi was the only grandfather I got to meet in my lifetime. He passed away when I was 6. I am sad that I never got to know him well and I wish I could have had him there while I grew up. I miss him and he is always in my thoughts
