John Kent Busalacchi, passed away, December 23, 2024, at the young age of 67, leaving behind a legacy of joy, laughter and love. John lived life to its fullest, embracing every moment with passion. He was an avid football fan, with a special fondness for the New Orleans Saints, and cherished infinite hours playing cards with his close friends.
Above all, his greatest love was his family who meant the world to him. John worked in the film industry, where he touched countless lives with his compassion, generosity, and infectious sense of humor. Fiercely loyal to those he loved; his zest for life inspired everyone he met.
John’s love for the simple pleasures in life, along with his unwavering devotion to his family and friends, will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving partner; Sandi Stone; daughter, Anna B. Laque (Jared); son, Luca Busalacchi; sister, Jan B. Martus (Matt); nephew Alex Martus; brother, Anthony Busalacchi; stepfather, Richard Allen; and a host of extended family, including Joseph Marcello (Gail), Dayna M Bozeman (Travis), Carlos Marcello, Steve Marcello, and Dean Marcello. He is also survived by many dear friends who were fortunate enough to have shared in his life. He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Busalacchi and his mother, Louise B. Allen.
John will be profoundly missed but forever remembered in the hearts of all who loved him. May his memory be a blessing to those he leaves behind.
