Peter F. Busalacchi, 80 of Franklin, died Thursday, May 2, 2024. He was born January 27, 1944 in Milwaukee to Peter and Bernice (nee: Bopp) Busalacchi. On July 11, 1964, he married Janice (nee: Rosenau), she preceded him in death in 2012. On June 13, 2015, he married Nannette Boinski, she survives him. He graduated from Nathan Hale High School Class of 1962. Peter worked as a welder for the Railroad, Heil Corporation, Allis Chalmers, and Bucyrus Erie and retired in 2000. He was a member of the Franklin Senior Center and was a faithful member of St. Hugh of Lincoln Catholic Church in Milwaukee. He also enjoyed his time with the Franklin Auxiliary Police Department.
He is survived by his wife Nannette, his sons, Kenneth (Ellen) Busalacchi of Park Falls, Peter (Maria) Busalacchi of Franklin, and Thomas (Judy) Busalacchi of Elkhorn, stepchildren Gavin (Eva) Boinski of Alabama, and Jeff (Char) Boinski of Franklin. He is the proud grandfather of Sam Busalacchi, Emily Hamann, Anna (Jon) Vogt, Clare (Gunner Clay) Busalacchi, Frank (Lynn Gilbert) Busalacchi, Isabella (Ben Lee) Busalacchi, Matthew (Danielle) Busalacchi, Ryan (Lauren) Busalacchi and great grandfather to Olivia, Meliah, Ayven, Laura, Jillian, Joseph, Rose, Dewey, and Jack. He is further survived by his step grandchildren Jacob Boinski and Brooklyn Boinski, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his wife Janice, he was preceded in death by his daughter Jennifer, his granddaughter Mary Ruth, and his brother Kenneth.
Visitation will be held on Fri. May 10, 2024, at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave. in Waukesha from 4-7 pm and again on Sat. from 9:30-10:30 am at St. Hugh of Lincoln Catholic Church, 2401 S 12th St, Milwaukee, WI 53215. Requiem Mass 10:30 am. Burial will follow a procession to Good Hope Cemetery.
