Judi and Family, I am so sadden at the passing of your husband and father. I worked with Steve at City Hall years ago and he was such a kind man. His help and patience was so appreciated by me as I was going thru a difficult time in my life and started a new and busy job. He has passed far too soon. My deepest sympathies. He has been on my mind since reading of his new found peace.

A letter to Steve,
I've had the good fortune to know you for many years, but only with the last few have I really been able to get to know you personally, and I'm sure glad I did. Our times together at the soup kitchen were something I looked forward to and will always cherish. Goofing around with you made all the "dishing" worthwhile. I regret not being able to get together one last time. You've left us a wonderful family to remember you by, and I thank you for that. I know in my heart your in a better place now, and I'm thankful for that. I'll miss you bro' and I'll love you forever. I look forward to the day we can be together again

To Judy and the entire Loth family, Our deepest condolences on the passing of an old friend from my Jr. High and High School days. It doesn't seem that long ago that we were riding our bikes to school, going through alleys and stop signs (and maybe a front lawn too) and having a great time. Steve was a true gentleman and he will be missed by all of us fortunate enough to have called him a friend.

To Judy and the Loth family. From across the years and miles, we are so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. Steve was my high school buddy, and I can still see his youthful smile in his senior photo. We will remember the good times.
