Mrs. Sullivan, I am so sorry for your loss. My husband, Ed Dawson, or Butch as many knew him, was friends with Sully for many years. Graduated from Mt. Vernon, together, and remained in contact through email.Ed always spoke very highly of him, and treasured their friendship. I sympathize with you at this difficult time. I pray you will find comfort in the legacy Sully has left. Ed passed away in February,and I testify to the strength and peace that our Lord provides.

So sorry for your lose Linda. Sully was one of the first people in met when I got stationed here and he helped to make me feel welcomed to the area. We had a lot of good times volksmarching. He also help keep a eye on my daughter while he worked at South East. He will be missed.

My son Sean Trickett knew Sully very well and had a high respect for him. He is in AZ. now and can't make the service but all our thoughts and prayers are with the family. He was a wonderful man and proud of his country.

I did not know Allan "sully" personally. I was a long term sub at South High School in the late 90's. His reputation was good with the students then. I remember hearing the students talking one day saying " man that big guy is fast, you would not think he would be, but man, you gotta be fast to get away!" . LOL...I am sure he impacted many lives in many positive ways! My thoughts and prayer are with your family <3

Dearest Sully, you were my partner for almost 15 years at South High School...and I hold many special memories of you. We worked well together through those years, and we shared many adventures. I will never forget the many things you did for me personally, during a time that I was raising my children, as a single parent. Your kindness and friendship helped me through many down times in my life. You and Linda took me, and my children under your wings. You looked out for us, and I will never forget your humanity. I am proud to call you my friend. You and Linda stepped forward many times, to help me when I needed help in my life. Your compassion exceeded anyone's expectations. I feel Blessed to have seen and shared your human side, that most people neglected to see. I will miss you my friend..you deserve to spread your wings and fly, you earned them.
