Wally Sue, from the first time I met with Jack in the hospital (July of 16) it has been a privilege spending time, getting to know and praying with you and your family. You and Jack raised two caring and thoughtful children, and you my friend are a faithful caregiver beyond measure. Our prayer now is that wonderful memories and the eternally true promises of our Lord and Savior will comfort you, James and Mary Margaret in the coming weeks and months. Blessings to you all.

Jack was always a joy to be around. I am so lucky to have been around him for years through the game of golf. He gave so much of his time and talent to the KGA and the game of golf! He set an incredible example to everyone he came in touch with. We were so lucky to have him and he will be missed. God Bless you and your family Jack!

I first met Jack in 1985 as a young teenager new to the Wichita area. We shared a deep passion for the game of golf. He took me under his wing, hired me to mow his yard at times, but he was such a perfectionist with that damn zoysia that I think he thought it was Augusta. It sure looked like it. He hired me for a summer job at Superior Supply Company. Sorry for all of those units I ruined with the forklift Jack. He also took me to play Flint Hills for the first time. Sunday afternoon. Tiger Woods beat Bob May to win the PGA that day. Remember like it was yesterday. Thanks for all of the good memories. Will miss that dry sense of humor, quick jokes, great laughs, the perfectionist that you were. A life WELL LIVED!! Yes Sir!!!

My thoughts are with the Simpson Family. Jack was one of a kind and a Mentor to many people including youth golfers, like myself. He always had a life lesson or Golf Lesson each time you saw him. He will truly be missed. Rest in Peace Jack

Jack was there the first day I played jr. golf at Crestview C.C. when I was 8-years-old. He and my grandfather, John Sheaks helped every Monday for many years with rules education for the jr. golfers, and Jack was an integral part of nurturing and growing the jr. golf program, not only at Crestview, but around the Wichita area in general.........and is a big reason I fell in love with golf. I caddied for him many times as a jr. when he played in the club championship and loved hearing his many stories as we strolled down the fairways (with his really heavy bag)! I will miss seeing him on the first tee at Kansas Golf Association events and hope his next journey is filled with nothing but peace, tranquility and lots of birdies:)

My condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Simpson. Growing up in Wichita, KS and competing in KGA and USGA events, Jack was fixture in our sport. He was most certainly a man I admired. He took us "kids" under his wing and exemplified what it meant to give back to the community and how to truly make an impact in others lives. He will most certainly be missed.

Jack was a real gentleman and a great role model for a generation of KGA Junior golfers. Jack put in a lot of time as a starter for countless KJGA events and was always cheerful and congenial to the players but insisted that the players be punctual, respectful, and polite. A lot of kids got that message and plenty of others could benefit today by remembering Mr Simpson's demeanor.
He was a great guy.

I had the privilege of caddie duties several times for Mr. Simpson. I always enjoyed looping for him and taking in his dry sense of humor. He respected the game of golf and seemingly everyone he ever encountered. I know I felt that sense from Jack on every occasion that I encountered him. May the peace of the Lord be with Jack and all his family and friends.
