Carl Morris Smock

Smock, Carl Morris Age 89, retired Cessna Aircraft manufacturing superintendent and U.S. Army Korean War veteran passed away, Sunday, October 14, 2018. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the Riverside Christian Church. Carl was a loving husband, father, and amazing Papa to his grandkids. He loved the symphony, nascar, snow skiing, and running. He also loved traveling the world with friends and family. Carl touched many lives and will be missed by all who knew him. Preceded in death by his parents; and son, Jon. Survivors include his loving wife, Ruth of the home; daughter, Sheila (Terry) Davis of Wichita, KS; 3 grandchildren, Jacob Campbell, and Rachel Campbell, both of Wichita, KS, and Emily Smock of Little Rock, AR; 2 step grandchildren, Casey (Joel) Davis, and Codey Davis both of Denver, CO; sisters, Ruth Finley of Wichita, KS, and Jean (Bill) Jones of Lampe, MO.
