Again....such a great loss to your family that my sister Olga and I can so totally relate to:(
All I know is that my sister and I thought that your Peter was one original soul. No lies....no deceptions.... and so sincere in his thoughts and actions toward us both. Peter did have an unexplained joy to life in so many situations. Looking back....maybe he was just so naturally happy and positive.
Sometimes when someone shares their perceptions of a person.....another thinks who are they talking about.....well, thats the way my sister and I truly saw your beloved Peter.
We loved your Peter and remember him with such fond and humorous memories.
We LOVE The Stepp family and have so many fabulous memories together with you all throughout the years. Your beloved and dynamic mother, your icon of a father, and your youngest little Stepp who was especially so very special to me! We were so blessed to have you each in our lives.
We will never ever forget your beloved and special Peter nor any of The Stepp Family!
God bless you all❤

Pete was a wonderful neighbor, always bringing lovely bouquets of flowers or corn from the market and asking if there was anything more he could do for us. We just today, June 21, heard about his passing. It shocks and saddens us greatly. Now it's our turn to ask Pam and his family if there's anything we can do for them.

Pam,
Please accept my most heartfelt condolences for your loss. I am so glad you found your love and were able to enjoy ten years together. I grieve along with you, as I lost my husband in February from complications of cancer. He too had a strong faith, giving me comfort that he is in God's kingdom.
Fondly,

Pam being your neighbor is wonderful. Pete loved you so much. He is the cutest, funniest & most caring friend. It is so sweet to watch him chasing around after your grandchildren. Most of his friends would love to see him chasing the Barbie Jeep, with the twins driving. Trying to keep them close with an extension cord tied to the back. Pete had this little floating fishing chair, it was so adorable to see him out in the lake fishing. Pete's last morning we talked, he was cleaning his golf clubs to go to a tournament. He was so excited. Goodbye Pete win that tournament, and he did. Can't imagine a Pam without Pete or Pete without Pam. So sorry you left us so early Pete, you will be missed by so many. My condolences to Pam and the family.

Pete was my neighbor for nearly 6 years and in that time we became great friends. We fished together, my daughter played with his beloved grand kids and we shared meals with Pete and his lovely wife Pam who was my wife's Kindergarten teacher. I have never met a man that loved and enjoyed his life as Pete did. I can still hear him when he would call me almost daily "Hey Brian, it's Pete - your neighbor" Like he needed to tell me who Pete was, but I think he was trying to say something in a way that he enjoyed being neighbors and wanted to get joy from saying that word. I will miss you my friend and bless you. RIP.

I am still in shock. Pete was a friend in business but more than that, a friend in life. One of the funniest most compassionate guys I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He talked of his family with such love. To his wife, whom I have never met, he spoke of such adoration. He also spoke of his "son" and grandkids. They were the light and joy of his life. That's what every conversation started out with. My heart is heavy for his whole family. I will miss you my friend. There will never be another "Petie".

I just fell in Love with Pete. He talked so highly of his wife and family every time he came to visit. We meet Pete just only about 8 months ago thru using his Insurance company for our business needs. He is the best insurance man I have ever met. He took such awesome care of us. I know that is family is going through a lot of pain and our prays are with you all. He loved those grandchildren. Had all kinds of pictures on his Ipad and would show them off. He will be truly missed and thought of often by his clients and co-workers and most of all his family. We love you Pete, Debbi, Angie, Heather and Kylee and the Awards & T-Shirts Family.

Thinking of all of you and the good times we had with Pete and your family as we grew up together in Brookside and enjoyed our families ties to that great institution - PEO! Those were indeed idyllic times! I will always remember Pete seeking us out in the halls of St Luke's hospital when our mom was in ICU. Hugs to all - Betsy Titterington
