Elna Stepp

Elna Brown Stepp, age 96, of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away on March 10, 2026.

Born on August 31, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Reedy and Eunice Robinson. Elna was a cornerstone of her community, known for her dedication to her family and her church. For many years, she and her husband, Marvin, operated W.O. Stepp and Sons Old Country Store in Noah, Tennessee-carrying on a cherished family legacy started by her father-in-law.

Elna was an active and faithful member of Bell Springs United Methodist Church in Noah. She found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, including sewing, crocheting, canning, and taking long walks with her husband. She also looked forward to her weekly trips to Bell Springs to gather with friends and play games.

In addition to her parents, Elna was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Marvin Stepp, whom she married in the early 1960's.

She is survived by her son, Curtis Galon; her daughter, Lynette Bennett, and husband Cameron; two brothers and one sister; her two grandchildren, Charity and Charles Bennett; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Manchester Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
