Nathan Russell Giron, age 18, of Lee's Summit, MO passed away Monday, February 1, 2016. Memorial arrangements are being made by Langsford Funeral Home, 115 S.W. 3rd St, LSMO, 64063. Visitation will be held Friday, February 5, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Lee's Summit United Methodist Church, 114 S.E. Douglas St, Lee's Summit, MO, 64063. Funeral will be held Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Lee's Summit United Methodist Church. Burial will be at the Historical Lee's Summit Cemetery following the service. Nathan was born October 10, 1997 in Kansas City, MO. Nathan was a senior at Lee's Summit West High School and attended the Joe Herndon Vocational Technical School where he studied construction. Nathan held a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and earned his Life rank with the Boy Scouts of America, and Warrior status in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. His passion was fishing and hunting and he loved all his time spent in the great outdoors. He especially loved family, friends and his dogs; Abby, Kacey and Chief. He is survived by his mother, Melissa Lynn Giron; his father, Russell Brian Giron; grandparents, Myrna Sue and George Richard 'Dick' MacKay, and Jesse and Betty Easley; uncles Mark MacKay, Ron Giron; aunts Pam Bolstad and Maxine Muncy; and cousins Sean Mackay, Zach MacKay, Amber Giron, Cory Muncy, Donna Flowers and Venecia Ferguson. He was preceded in death by his older brother, Joshua Brian Giron. In Lieu of flowers and in honor of Nathan the family is asking for donations to the Missouri Conservation Heritage Foundation.
