LANE William R. "Billy", Jr., 64, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Born in Lexington on August 13, 1950, he was a son of Mary Arlie and William R. Lane, Sr. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Trista Lane Hail. Other than his parents, he leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Debbie Lane; his son, Trey Lane (Jodie); his grandchildren, David Hail III, Hunter Lane, Alex Helton and Trey Courtney; and his sister, Sue Williams (Mark). Mr. Lane was an active member and deacon of Trinity Baptist Church, and currently a project manager at Codell Construction. He was also a former co-owner of Lane-Hargett Construction Company and Traco Construction Company. He was a 1968 graduate of Bryan Station High School, and attended the University of Kentucky. He also was a longtime coach in youth sports. Mr. Lane loved his family, and was an avid fisherman. Funeral service will be 11am Saturday at Trinity Baptist Church by Pastor Greg McClellan. Burial will follow in Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 - 8pm Friday at Kerr Bros. - Main St. and 10 - 11am Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Association - Kentucky Chapter, or to Trinity Baptist Church in his memory.

Bill, Mary and Debbie...
I'm so very sorry for your loss, but thankful to have known Billy and I will always cherish his friendship. He was a Christian man and his Godly presence was visible everyday. He loved his family with all his heart and was very proud of each and every one of you.
