Bryan Edward Testerman, age

75, passed away peacefully,

Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Parkwest Hospital with family and friends by his side. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, and a great friend and employer to many people. Bryan attended Staub School, Tyson Jr. High, West High School, where he played football, the University of Tennessee and East Tennessee State University. He grew up in the Melrose area and attended Second Presbyterian Church. Bryan initially began work with his brother John Testerman at Testerman Construction Company. Over the years, they have built over 5000 homes, 3 apartment complexes, and Willow Creek Golf Club. More recently, as Bryan Testerman Construction, he built the Whispering Woods and Ansley Woods neighborhoods. Bryan leaves a 50 year legacy of some of Knoxville's most successful residential communities and apartments. He was able to develop a loyal team of employees, which contributed to uncompromising quality, service and integrity.

Bryan was predeceased by father and mother, Benjamin Harrison Testerman and Lucille Hanley Testerman; brothers, Sgt. Benjamin Harrison Testerman, Jr., Daniel Hanley Testerman, Kyle C. Testerman; and nephew, John Testerman, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Brenda Huff Testerman; daughter, Tracey and husband, Ken Hayes Harrigan, and their children, Kathleen Elizabeth, Mary Jennifer, and Hayes Delia Harrigan; and by his son, Bryan Edward Testerman, Jr.; and his son, Mason Testerman. Bryan is also survived by brother, John W. Testerman and wife, Leslie Testerman; nieces and nephews, Hanley and Bill Roach, Chris Testerman, and Daniel Read, Muffett and James Buckner, Benjamin Long Testerman, and Janet and Joey Creswell.

Family and friends will meet for a graveside service to be held Tuesday, June 23rd at 10:00 a.m. at Highland Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call at their convenience, Rose Mann Mortuary, 6200 Kingston Pike. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church or charity of choice. Arrangements by Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel. Online condolences may be extended at www.rosemortuary.com.
