Harmon Kreis Weigel, Jr.
May 5, 1959 - April 26, 2018
After a hard fought battle with cancer, Kreis has gone home to be with his Lord and Savior. He is rejoicing and celebrating and claiming his reward. Not once did he waiver in his faith and always shared his faith with everyone he came in contact with.
Preceded in death by his sister Teresa "Teri" Elaine Weigel; he is the son of Kreis Weigel, Sr., and Charlotte (Hutchens) Weigel. Married to Darleen (Ashworth) Weigel. Father of Brittney (Weigel) Cagle (Newt) and Kory Alexander Weigel. Grandfather of Riley Kreis Smith and Kennedi Paige Weigel.
A celebration of life will be held at Redemption Church, Pleasant Ridge Road, Knoxville, TN, officiated by Dr. Ed King, on Friday, May 4th, with receiving of friends from 5:30-7:00, followed by the service. Interment will be Saturday, May 5th at Asbury Cemetery. We will meet 10:30 a.m. at Bridges Funeral Home, Rutledge Pike, for procession to the cemetery. Kreis's biker friends are encouraged to ride their bikes in honor. Bridges Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the Weigel Family.
