Dr. Eaddy was an inspiration to many, but especially for me to be better at being a diabetes educator. He was an amazing mentor and friend. I shall miss him.

I have so many wonderful memories of Dr. Eaddy. His warmth and sense of humor, his zest for life, his endless supply of jokes - the patients he served loved him. We had good times at TCDC and at the UT Diabetes Center. Praying for his family in this great loss.

My heart is broken by the loss of this wonderful man. As my doctor for many years, he saved me from myself with gentle and kind advice for living well with diabetes. His intelligence and sense of humor were well known and highly respected in the medical community as much as by his loving family and many friends. I loved and admired him dearly and will miss him until I can see him again in a better place.

Our condolences to the family of Dr. Eaddy. He was a life saver after my transplant, stitched my husband when necessary, and sang to our daughter as she entered puberty. It wasn't unusual for our phone to ring and his heartfelt voice would be on the line just to see how we were doing. There will never be another doctor who could manage difficult type 1 diabetes, and yet make sure the entire family was cared for. Thank you Dr. Eaddy.

Dr.Eaddy... I don't even know where to start.. All I know is he is such a huge part of my youth... Part of my whole life. my mother worked for him and she had so much respect for him and he had so much respect for her... And anyone who respects my mother is someone that I love. there's not a bad thing anyone on this whole planet could ever say about this man. He was the best doctor ever and he was the kindest, funniest, most caring, brilliant human being alive. I have loved him and his entire family for the last 35 years. it has been both an honor and a privilege to know him. There are not enough wonderful words to describe how much I love this family. Thank you so much for everything you did for me and my mother. I will never ever forget you, Dr. Eaddy. you will be sorely missed
