Wade did business with my father, Gary Lee Coffey. Later, Wade helped me find my first home. He was kind but persistent. And there seemed to be a twinkle in his eyes, always. I'm glad he lived a long, long life.

We are so sorry to hear of Wade's passing. He was such a kind soul and such a wonderful, supporting friend to my daddy, Ivan Wood. He was such a sweet man to us and had a wonderful personality , he was just like family and I will never forget him. We are blessed to have known him.

Sweet gentleman with a loving spirit and adoring admiration for his wonderful wife.
He served our country with distinction during WWII, most notably steering his LST delivering US soldiers under tremendous fire to the beaches of Normandy June 6, 1944. We have lost another great hero!

Robert, I have fond memories of your Dad coming into the Knoxville JCPenny store to encourage us when I was working my way through UT. Both your Mom and Dad impressed me as being such an attractive couple....always smiling, always pleasant.
