Janice L. McGoff

1948 - 2017

December 1, 1948 - September 9, 2017 Janice McGoff, former Vice President of Talent Relations for ABC Entertainment, passed away September 9, in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, following a short illness. Janice was a respected member of the Disney-ABC Television Group for many decades and known industry-wide for running her department with grace, professionalism and diplomacy. She managed ABC Upfronts, affiliate meetings, media tours, press junkets, corporate meetings, community and charity events, working seamlessly with network executives, producers, agents, performers and managers. Janice is remembered for her generosity, sense of humor, mentoring staffers, and maintaining close relationships with talent and colleagues in the television, entertainment and hospitality industries. Prior to ABC, Janice attended UCLA and worked for Max Factor and A&M Records. Active in parent and fund-raising groups at Immaculate Heart Middle & High School, Janice supported Revlon/UCLA Women's Cancer Research and St. Jude Children's Hospital. In retirement, she was devoted to friends and family, moving to Colorado to live close to her beloved daughter Katherine Pitts, son-in-law John Pitts and grandson Samuel Pitts. Janice was preceded in death by her father Nassome "Sam" Barrack, mother Peggy Barrack and brother Michael Barrack. She is also survived by her sister Julie Barrack, brother Stephen Barrack and a community of loving friends.
