Only today did I learn of Tony´s passing. I am so sorry to hear this. As others have said, Tony was one of the happiest and pleasant persons I´ve ever met. He was always upbeat, helpful and had a smile for you. This is so sad. My condolences to Maureen and family. I know Tony from working with him at the A&P and from seeing him at Bishop McDevitt High School.
My prayers for Tony and his family.

My heart is broken at the news of Tony’s passing. I pray for Maureen and her family that they will find joy and comfort in the memories they share and in the love that binds their family together. I’ll try to be brief with my comments but there is so much I want to say. I knew Tony perhaps a little differently than many others. Way back in the late 1960s and early 1970s, Tony was one of my very closest friends. There were three of us, Tony, Ed Stroud, and me and throughout our junior and senior years in high-school and beyond we were like the 3 Amigos. Always hanging together and experiencing the joys and challenges of those days. Whether we were cruising Cedarbrook Mall or Cheltenham mall and checking out the newest records and albums, running around at Willow Grove Park, or going “clubbing” to Da Scene, we were inseparable. We even traveled cross country together in a genuine Hippie van. It was during this time that I also got to know Maureen Toole, soon to be Mrs. Maureen Petrucci. And later, I was honored to be Tony’s best man at their wedding. What a joyous moment. I knew in my heart that Tony and Maureen would be together for a long time. As life would have it though, our paths soon went different ways. I wound up moving to Colorado and as the years and distance will often do to people, we wound up not keeping in touch as much as we should have. I’ve often thought to myself that ‘I should give Tony a call’, but then I would get busy with something and wait to do it later. Well, now I know that later never really comes. Even though there are decades now since we have seen each other and talked, he is still here in my heart and will always remain. And I will miss him now more than ever. My heart, my love, and my prayers go out to Maureen and the entire Petrucci family.

Maureen and family, please accept my heartfelt condolences on your tremendous loss. I would always forward to cousin Tony's company at family reunions as he is exceptional, genuine and so very special. I think of him as an angel who blessed everyone who he touched. I will miss him.

Tony was a high school friend. He was such a sincere, humble and positive person. Always looked on the bright side with a twinkle in his eyes. I was honored to be his friend. So deeply sorry Maureen and family. Heartfelt condolences from myself and my husband, Patty Barry Gomez and Angelo Gomez

We can't fully express the depths of our sorrow and condolences.
It was a blessing to have known Tony and to be friends with his incredible family. Tony was the most positive, friendly and kind person we've ever known. He always had a smile on his face and never had a bad thing to say about anyone. Our hearts are broken but we're consoled by the fact that he's looking down on all of his family and friends.

Dear Maureen and family,
I am heartbroken to hear of the loss of Tony. He had the most beautiful smile and such a big heart. My days of him with "the gang" at the A&P in Roslyn will always remain with me.
The love he had for you and your family is true love that we need more in this world.
God Bless.
