Michael Petrucci passed away August 14th, 2025, after a long hard battle with cancer. He leaves behind his daughter Jennifer Petrucci and her friend Joseph Murphy, his son Christopher Petrucci-Archer and his wife Heather Petrucci-Archer, as well as his grandchildren Alexis, Brandon, Vaughan and CJ. Born in Attleboro, he was small in stature but big in talent. He graduated Mass Art and was a graohic designer amongst other things. He soent many summers on Martha's Vineyard while growing up and also resided in Humarock, Marshfield and his favorite place Plymouth. He could tell great stories from fishing tales to when he had breakfast on a yacht with Frank Sinatra as a child. Being a fishing type of guy, you had to know him well to tell if a story was the truth or a fish tale. (The Sinatra story is true) Second to his love of his grandchildren and extended family was his love of all art, cigars, photography and above all fishing. Mike spent years working as a graphic designer for a variety of companies most notably Grossmans. Photography and art were hobbies that lasted through most of his lifetime. He even requested a camera at the end so he could take pictures of what he was experiencing. Many works of his hang in homes and businesses across the country. An avid fisherman he did it all...from ice fishing, salt water, fresh water and fly fishing. Spending many a year tying his own flies. Mike could be found in the surf at Plymouth Beach, along the cape cod canal, at a secret fishing hole or in Upstate New York fishing for salmon every October. Whether he caught one fish or no fish ...it was his peace. He was always willing to teach everyone absolutely everything he knew about fishing except where the good spots were. He always said the world's problems can be solved with a fishing pole in hand. In the later years of his life, he took a retail job at Brennans Smoke Shop in Plymouth Center. Finding a love for cigars and the company of locals and coworkers. He was family to all who met him. Always the nice guy and always willing to help. Sharing his favorite cigars or just sitting in "Mikey's chair' watching a movie. He will be missed by so many who got to know him over the years. In lieu of flowers...Mike's family asks you to take pictures, create art, grab a cigar and a fishing pole and solve the world's problems beside the shore. A final art show of Mike's photography will be held at a later date.
