Oh, Mr. Badalamenti - I just found out this morning of your passing in December. I had NO idea. The past few months I've been teaching myself the Twin Peaks opening music and Laura Palmer's theme. I'm getting pretty good and I think you would've been proud. You created some of the most beautiful, timeless, and haunting music ever written for a television series. It was magical - (certainly in MY life), and I hope you knew that you touched many people when you closed your eyes. May you sleep in peace.

To a seventh grade schoolgirl, "Mr. Badalamenti" was a young, handsome, music teacher, who brought his love of song into every class with finesse. He couldn't have been older than 24 years of age, but even to a Brooklyn "Bobby Soxer" in the early 1960's, Mr. Badalamenti, had talent heads and shoulders above a teacher of music in P.S. 201. Years later, it was never a surprise that he rose to such prominence in his field and that Hollywood would beckon. Mr. Badalamenti will always stir memories of youthful enthusiasm in a Brooklyn that was almost innocent: a life well-lived by a well-mannered, man of elegance and grace. RIP

Have very fond memories of Angelo.
Both from Brooklyn and dated quite a few
years. He truly was a very gifted, talented man with great sense of humor.

His music meant the world to me. I also sorry for your loss, but I hope we can find comfort in knowing that his legacy will live on forever in the people that love him, his music, and what he stood for. He was a good man.
